ASEG and PESA welcome you to Perth, 'heart of Australia's resources industry'

On behalf of the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, we are proud to invite you to register for the premier event of the year, the 19th International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition. The conference and exhibition will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in Western Australia, from 18-22 November 2007. Perth, located on the banks of the sparkling Swan River, is the centre of the oil and gas industry of Australia, the exploration base for the majority of mining companies in Australia and Australia's sunniest capital city.

With the assistance of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA) and the Formation Evaluation Society of Australia (FESAus), ASEG will present one of the world’s leading resource exploration geophysics forums. 2007 also celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the International Geophysical Year.

We hope that in addition to the technical papers and state-of-the-art technologies, you will have time to visit the beaches, wineries and the myriad of other attractions which the city offers.

Brian Evans and Howard Golden
Co-Chairs

***Why not arrive in Perth early and attend the NewGenGold 2007 Conference to be held at the Sheraton Perth Hotel on 15-16 November 2007. Field trips and workshops are planned across the weekend 17-18 November leading up to the 19th International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition.***
