A completed registration form from each delegate, including speakers, is essential for administrative purposes.

Full Registration: includes attendance at all conference sessions; morning/afternoon teas and lunches; program and book of papers/abstracts and the welcome reception.

Student/Unwaged Registration: includes attendance at all conference sessions; morning/ afternoon teas and lunches; program and book of papers/abstracts and the welcome reception. Note: Student registrations must supply proof of full-time student status from their institution. Unwaged people and pensioners may register at the student rate.

One Day Registration: includes attendance at all conference sessions on the selected day; morning/afternoon teas and lunch; program and book of papers/abstracts.

Method of Payment: Payment must accompany the registration form and should include (as appropriate): registration fees, hotel deposit (one night's tariff) and social functions. Payments can be made by EFT, credit card, cheque or for international delegates, bank draft in Australian dollars. Personal or company cheques will not be accepted from international delegates.

Acknowledgement: Registrations received prior to Friday 29 August 2008 will be acknowledged in writing. Delegates are asked to check their confirmation letter and advise the organisers immediately if changes are required. For registrations made after Friday 29 August 2008, please telephone or email the secretariat to confirm receipt.

Registration Desk: The registration desk, located in the foyer of the Hyatt Regency Perth Hotel, will open from 1600 - 1800 on Tuesday 9 September and will also be open each day of the conference from 0800 - 1600 for the collection of delegate kits and assistance.

Dietary Requirements: Delegates with special dietary needs must advise Promaco Conventions via the registration form or in writing to ensure they are suitably catered for.

Messages and Mail: A message board will be located near the registration desk during the conference. No guarantee will be given to deliver mail personally. Please direct personal mail/deliveries to your accommodation venue.

Perth weather in September is around 22 degrees celsius. Some warm clothing is recommended, particularly in the evenings.

Child Care: No arrangements have been made for child care during the conference. Please check with the concierge at your hotel for assistance with babysitting services during your stay.

Insurance Advice: Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the conference and book your travel, you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include (1) loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the conference; (2) loss through cancellation of the conference; (3) loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason including force majeure, medical expenses, loss or damage to person or property, additional expenses; and (4) repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The conference secretariat cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange his or her own insurance.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Registration
- cancellation of registration must be advised in writing. Cancellations made before Friday 29 August 2008 incur a penalty fee of $132. Refunds of fees after this time will only be made in exceptional circumstances. Substitute delegates will be accepted and details must be advised in writing. Please note that cancellations made in the few weeks prior to the conference will be processed after the conference.

Accommodation - cancellation of accommodation must be advised in writing. Each hotel reserves the right to charge delegates for non-arrival on the dates pre-booked and/or no-shows.

Social Functions - no refunds will be given for social functions cancelled by delegates after Friday 29 August 2008 or missed during the conference.

If, for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the conference were to be cancelled, fees minus deduction of expenses incurred would be refunded. Please keep a copy of your registration form and note that by submitting the form, you have agreed to the terms of the cancellation policy.

The conference may be eligible for sponsorship of a number of subsidised registrations.

If you would like to apply for a sponsored registration (full or day), please download and complete aSubsidised Registration Application Form. Only applicants from Western Australia are eligible to apply for the community funding. Conditions of application apply. You will need to explain why you need assistance to attend this conference and how you intend to share the knowledge you gain with other workers in your region or organisation.

Applications for assistance must be received byMONDAY 1 SEPTEMBER 2008, emailed or faxed to Promaco Conventions to be eligible. If the application is successful, applicants will be advised in the week prior to the conference.
