2nd Australian Sialendoscopy Course

Sialendoscopy is one of the most fascinating innovations introduced into
Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery in the last few years. Sialendoscopy
uses minimal invasive surgical techniques which allow visual diagnostic
exploration of the salivary duct system, as well as interventional stone
extraction or stenosis dilatation by endoluminal techniques. This course
will cover the anatomy and physiology of the salivary glands and provide a
handson introduction into diagnostic and interventional sialendoscopy.

PEG dependancy is a common frustration in Head and Neck circles. The focus of this
workshop will be demonstrating the role of the Head and Neck Dietitian in post
treatment nutritional management and how we can prevent PEG dependancy.
