Purpose The workshop seeks to attract early career researchers from a wide range of disciplines (e.g. geography, planning, sociology, political science, health, environmental sciences, etc) whose research relates to the meta-theme of the conference.The workshop will give postgraduate candidates and early career researchers the opportunity to meet and network with conference keynote speakers, fellow postgraduate candidates and early career researchers. Interactive sessions will be run by keynote speakers, journal editors, PhD examiners and, of course, their peers on the following topics: o Current issues and trends in city policy and planning;o Linking methodology and theory (across disciplines) with good practice; o Finishing your dissertation, and where to from here;o How to get your research noticed and published; andWorkshop Agenda
