Introduction The Society for Underwater Technology will hold the first Annual Subsea Technical Conference in Perth, Western Australia at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre in February 2009. The aim of the conference is to identify the technical challenges and showcase solutions within the subsea arena. It will provide a forum, which will bring together diverse fields of science and engineering, to share ideas and to maintain high standards in marine science and technology.
