How to Register

The PDF Registration Form is available to download.

Delegates can register by email, mail or fax. All delegates (including speakers) must complete a registration form for administrative purposes.

Full Registration includes:

• attendance at all conference sessions;

• morning/afternoon teas and lunches;

• program and book of papers/abstracts;

• Welcome Reception and Closing Sundowner

Student (Fulltime) Registration includes:

• attendance at all conference sessions;

• morning/afternoon teas and lunches;

• program and book of papers/abstracts;

• Welcome Reception and Closing Sundowner

Note: Student registrations must supply proof of fulltime student status from their institution.

One Day Registration includes:

• attendance on the selected day;

• morning/afternoon teas and lunches;

• program and book of papers/abstracts;

• Thursday delegates only - Closing Sundowner

IMPORTANT NOTE: Payment in FULL must be received by the conference secretariat to enable delegates to collect their conference information and attend the conference sessions. Please ensure that your organisation/institution has finalised all necessary payments prior to registration day - Tuesday 17 February 2009.

Method of Payment
Payment must accompany the registration form and should include (as appropriate): registration fees, hotel deposit (one night’s tariff), tours and social functions.

Payments can be made by EFT, credit card, cheque, or for international delegates, bank draft in Australian dollars. Personal or company cheques will not be accepted from international delegates. Please note that all payments made by credit card will be subject to a 3% bank fee on the total amount.

Acknowledgement
Registrations received prior to Friday 6 February 2009 will be acknowledged in writing. Delegates are asked to check their confirmation letter and advise the organisers immediately, if amendments are required. For registrations made after 6 February 2009, please telephone or email the secretariat to confirm receipt of your registration.

Dietary Requirements
Delegates with special dietary needs must advise Promaco Conventions via the registration form or in writing to ensure they are suitably catered for.

Registration Desk
The registration desk, located in the foyer of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will open each day of the conference from 8.30am - 4.00pm for the collection of delegate kits and general assistance.

 

Cancellation and Refunds

Registration - cancellation of registration must be advised in writing. Cancellations made before Friday 16 January 2008 incur a penalty fee of A$132. Refunds of fees after this time will only be made in exceptional circumstances. Substitute delegates will be accepted and details must be advised in writing. Please note that cancellations made in the few weeks prior to the conference, will be processed after the conference.

Accommodation - cancellation of accommodation must be advised in writing. Each hotel reserves the right to charge delegates for non-arrival on the dates pre-booked and/or no-shows.

Tours and Social Functions - no refunds will be given for tours or social functions cancelled by delegates after Friday 6 February 2009 or missed during the conference.

If, for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the conference is cancelled, fees minus deduction of expenses incurred will be refunded.

Please keep a copy of your registration form and note that by submitting the form, you have agreed to the terms of the cancellation policy.
