The Conference Committee have planned an exciting scientific program and are pleased to present an eminent physiotherapist from the United Kingdom as our keynote speaker - Zoe Clift. Zoe will present two papers and three workshops which are sure to stimulate your thoughts and provide ideas and experiences to enhance your practice. In addition, the program features numerous papers, posters and workshops from AHTA members and colleagues on their research, clinical issues and interesting case-studies. Within the theme of multi-trauma, we will hear from therapists involved in treating victims of the Black Saturday bushfires; from the Royal Flying Doctors Service on the transportation of patients with serious hand and upper limb trauma; and from former Australian of the Year, Professor Fiona Wood, on the quest for scarless healing.

The social program will include a welcome reception and conference dinner showcasing the fine foods and wines of Western Australia - a great opportunity to network, relax and be entertained. October weather in Perth is glorious and an ideal time to enjoy the many activities available - we may even encourage some of you to stay a little longer!
