SEE YOU IN FREMANTLE for ARMS2010

The Organising Committee welcomes you to the 12th Annual Conference of the Australasian Research Management Society.

This year, the conference is being held in the portside city of Fremantle, Western Australia. Considered one of Western Australia's most historic and beautiful cities, Fremantle is recognised as the best preserved 19th Century seaport in the world with over 150 buildings classified by the National Trust.

This year's conference theme Beyond silos: research management across borders, boundaries and sectors recognises the shifting research policy landscape and increasingly complex environment in which research managers operate. In doing so, we seek to explore issues and share knowledge around:

• developing approaches to support international research opportunities and collaborations;

• building effective relationships between research managers and researchers; and creating and

• sustaining links across sectors including university, industry, hospitals etc.

The organising committee has assembled a program with a strong line-up of invited speakers. Delegates will also hear ARMS members present on a wide array of topics during concurrent sessions.

We hope the program, the social events and networking opportunities at the 2010 Annual Conference prove stimulating and engaging.
