Who should attend
Statisticians from state and federal bodies, research institutions,
academia and private companies. They come from a broad range of specialist
areas including medicine and the pharmaceutical industry, finance and
insurance, mining, environmental science and ecology, agriculture and
food, quality control. Statistical educators who teach across areas as
diverse as social science, health sciences, natural resource management,
mining and engineering will also be well represented. Conference objectives • to inform delegates about new work and developments in statistics; • to provide an opportunity for professionals from all areas of statistics to network; • to draw world class statisticians and share knowledge and expertise.
OZCOTS 2010 A two-day satellite conference, from 9-10 December, for statistics educators and practitioners, including schools, colleges and universities, industries and governments will be held in conjunction with ASC2010. Invited and contributed papers on topics across the statistical education spectrum will be presented. An optional refereeing process will apply. |
