In order to navigate the Interactive Internet Map just press the mouse button once on any of the red arrows. To view the name of a marker or town, move the mouse over the required area and a pop-up blurb will then display its name. This information will also display in the task bar at the bottom of the web browser. Some areas are linked to townsites and shire pages and thus will show "(Click for more information)" in the task bar. When this occurs you can click the mouse button while still over the associated area and the page with the associated information will be displayed. You may also navigate the map quickly by selecting the map coordinates of your destination and then pressing the goto button at the bottom of the Interactive Internet Map page. A simple search facility is also provided at the bottom of the Interactive Interent Map. Just type in the search text (ignoring case) and press the search button. The map will automatically update to the first occurance it finds of the text entered. If this is not the answer your were hoping for, try a more definitive search. |
