Beverley noted for it’s historic buildings founded in 1838, was named after Beverley in England by Charles Simmons the Surgeon General. A pleasant 90 minute drive from Perth either on the Great Southern Highway or down the Brookton Highway through the lovely jarrah forest, in spring it bounds with wild flowers. Be adventurous, come to Beverley one way and go home the other. Beverley has much to offer the visitor who is prepared to look just below the surface.
