Meeting Location

The meeting will be held in the tropical city of Cairns in the state of Queensland, Australia. Cairns has a lively cosmopolitan atmosphere and is fringed by the Great Barrier Reef and World Heritage listed rainforests. The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest single marine park and has the largest collection of coral reefs supporting the most diverse ecosystem known to man.

It is an adventure of a lifetime, a chance to do serious business in a stunning location. Great restaurants, excellent accommodation and many attractions make it the perfect place for the APSSM 2005 meeting.

Venue

Cairns has a Convention Centre that has recently been ranked first in the world and recognised as a leading venue in the Asia Pacific region by the International Conference and Convention Association (ICCA). The Committee has selected the Convention Centre to hold the APSSM Biennial Meeting in 2005, thus ensuring excellent facilities for the event.
