Registration Information


A completed registration form from all participants (including speakers) is essential. Click Here to download a PDF of the registration form and return by fax or post. Please keep a copy of your form for your own reference. Fees have been structured to ensure a benefit to early registrants. A late fee of AUD$110 will be applicable to those registering after 19 September 2005.

Fulltime registration includes: attendance at all scientific sessions, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, book of abstracts, delegate list, welcome reception and the gala dinner.

Day registration includes: attendance at all scientific sessions, morning and afternoon tea and lunch on the selected day and the book of abstracts. Accompanying person registration includes: the welcome reception and the gala dinner and access to an entertaining program of other activities and tours (at optional cost).

Privacy Statement: In registering for this event your relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates and may also be made available to parties directly related to the event such as exhibitors and sponsors and the organisers of future Meetings (subject to conditions).

*Goods and Services Tax
For international visitors, a tax refund may be sought
at the airport for goods beyond the value of AUD$300 per transaction which they take with them as hand luggage when leaving the country. A tax refund is not available for goods or services consumed in Australia – and therefore the GST component of registration fees, accommodation, tours, etc is not claimable unless you have an Australian agent or ABN number.

Payment of Fees


Payment of fees must accompany the registration form. Payments will only be accepted in Australian dollars. For International delegates, we advise that personal or company cheques will not be accepted. Bank drafts, direct debit (EFT) and all major credit cards are accepted. Bank drafts should be made payable to Promaco Conventions Pty Ltd.

Acknowledgement: Registrations received prior to Monday 19 September 2005 will be acknowledged in writing, with confirmation of your requirements according to your form. Delegates must advise the organisers immediately of any amendments. For registrations made after this time, please telephone or email Promaco Conventions to confirm receipt.

Cancellations/Refunds


Registration Fees - Cancellation of registration must be advised in writing to Promaco Conventions. Cancellations made before Monday 5 September 2005 incur a penalty fee of AUD$110. Refunds of fees after this time will only be made in exceptional circumstances. Transfer of registration to another person may be made without penalty at any time.

Please note: Cancellations made in the few weeks prior to the conference will not be processed until after the conference period.

If for reasons beyond the control of the organisers the conference was to be cancelled, fees minus deduction of expenses incurred would be refunded.

Hotel Deposits - Cancellations of bookings must be advised in writing to Promaco Conventions. See Accommodation for the full penalties imposed for cancellations. The hotels reserve the right to charge delegates for non-arrival on the dates pre-booked.

Tours and Social Functions - No refunds will be given for tours or social functions cancelled after Monday 5 September 2005. No refunds will be given for tours or social functions that are cancelled on registration day or missed during the conference.
