Welcome
It is with pleasure that we invite all geochemists and allied professionals to register for the Association of Applied Geochemist’s 22nd International Geochemical Exploration Symposium. This particular symposium marks the beginning of AAG’s expanded charter to encompass both exploration and environmental geochemistry, and we are excited about the opportunity to host this meeting, which will also be the 1st Association of Applied Geochemist’s Symposium.
The Symposium has attracted more than 120 abstracts world-wide, 60 of which have been selected for oral presentation, and the remainder as posters - a high-quality program is assured. In addition to the scientific program, a number of courses / workshops and field excursions will be on offer, providing the most recent information in a variety of subject areas.
On the social side, we have planned an entertaining program for both delegates and partners, ensuring that all attendees can enjoy the delights of Perth.
Western Australia, rich in mineral and natural resources, is the ideal place for the IGES and Perth is the Australian hub of mineral exploration activity. We are sure that delegates can combine a high-quality scientific program with a full social agenda and see the State’s wonderful forests, fabulous coastlines and beautiful Capital City and we urge you to register early for this exciting event.
