BETTINA
ARNDT
It was sex that made Bettina Arndt famous. Having trained as a clinical
psychologist, in the early 1970’s she became one of Australia’s first sex
therapists. She gave up sex - professionally speaking – and moved onto writing

relationships between men and women. Her expertise on wide range of social
issues has also lead to appointments on various government advisory committees,
dealing with family law, child support, childcare, and ageing.
