Promaco Team
Many members of the
Promaco team have been with the company for more than twenty years and
are formally trained in conference management. Totalling over 125 years
in conference management, each person’s unique
blend of skills and experience is dedicated to making your conference an
outstanding success.
They have experience in managing events
of every size from 50 to 2500 delegates in a wide range of industries
and professions. All staff are proficient with computer technology and
have excellent skills in communication and understanding, particularly
as many of our international events involve participants whose first
language is not English.

Don
Pearce
Managing Director
Don has more than
twenty years experience in conference organising following a long
government career at management level. He had eighteen years experience
overseeing international conferences as a former World Secretary General
of the profession of Cartography and dealing with high levels of
international government, including the United Nations in New York and
Bangkok.
Since establishing Promaco Conventions in 1987, Don has served as
Chairman of the Perth Convention Bureau and was responsible for the
establishment of the Meeting Industry Association of Western Australia
and subsequently the National Association. He was the Chairman of the
National Council of the Meetings Industry Association of Australia for
four years and in 2001 received the inaugural Gold Medal for Outstanding
Contribution to the Meetings Industry.

Pearce
Director
Pamela
specialises in managing an extended database from various sources for
your conference and has consistently obtained high delegate response and
participation. She oversees the administration of Promaco. |

Michelle
Ainsworth, AMM
Senior Conference Organiser
After
more than eighteen years planning conferences in Western Australia,
Michelle’s industry knowledge and experience is priceless. She also
has exceptional computer skills, a strong background in government and
is a qualified travel consultant. She specialises in the coordination of
speakers and their requirements and the detailed organisation of social
functions. She is also responsible for the preparation of conference
programs, registration publications and the published or digital
compilation of papers and abstracts.

Bronwen
Brew
Senior Conference Organiser
Bronwen
is a qualified travel consultant with a background in government and
eighteen years experience in all aspect of conference organising. She is
exceptionally skilled with computerised registration processing and the
organisation of accommodation and tours. Her assistance to delegates
visiting the State is invaluable. Bronwen is also responsible for the
detailed financial administration before, during and after the event.

Exhibition and Technical Manager
Don
has sixteen years experience in conference organising, managing
exhibitions and coordinating the conference technical services. His
industry background is of great benefit in dealing with trade suppliers,
attending to their needs and supervising the construction and
dismantling of trade shows and displays. Don’s attention to detail,
his close working relationship with Perth’s top audiovisual companies
and his professional commitment to every exhibitor are invaluable in
providing technical support for each event.

Finance Manager
John’s
commitment to the success of your conference begins with a detailed
budget and continues long after the last delegate has gone home. With a
background in police services, John’s meticulous approach means the
conference committee can be confident that their money is secure. John
keeps abreast of the latest finance technology to maintain the best
service for your conference, particularly in the aftermath of the event.

Cooper
Conference Coordinator
Sharen’s
broad range of experience in all aspects of conference organising has
made her an essential member of the Promaco team for over fifteen years.
She assists with the design and preparation of publication materials, is
a qualified travel consultant and a part of the registration team.

Parkinson
Conference Coordinator
Kerry
has fourteen years experience with conference coordination and offers
outstanding skills in registration processing and secretarial work. She
also attends to speaker requirements and collates the huge volume of
emails and publication materials for each conference.

Sarah Stefano
Conference Assistant
Sarah is the
newest member of Promaco's team and with her TAFE qualifications, she fits
into the conference management arena with skill and confidence. Sarah
focuses on registration and data entry, accommodation bookings and general
administration assistance and she is also an enthusiastic member of the
onsite registration team.

Carmel
Pavlinovich
Graphic Designer
Carmel provides the artistic flair to ensure a professional and attractive
image for your conference. From the initial logo design, she applies
stunning graphics to all conference publications, correspondence,
publicity and signage, making this in-house capability a major saving
for conference budgets. Carmel is also in charge of designing and
updating your conference website. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Media and has over ten years experience in graphic design.

Graphic Design Consultant
David has over 30 years
experience in the design, promotion and display fields. He draws on a
wealth of knowledge to advise or assist you in the production of
promotional material, including scientific and technical diagrams, slide
presentations, posters and digital image editing and enhancement. David
also holds qualifications in Fine Arts. |
