The programme for the edu-IT conference is coming together well. We’re working with three partners – Computelec, Annitel and Red11 to provide innovative sessions on many subjects. Several schools will be presenting their stories of technology adoption within their environments. These sessions will give us loads of opportunities to gain information on the current and future directions of IT.

We’ll have sessions from Microsoft, Apple, HP, Cisco, Dell, and other service and security companies offering information on how their current products can benefit your educational program.

We will again be having a discussion room where I’m sure there’ll be many animated conversations with other technology specialists on the impacts of Technology on our schools.

The schedule will allow for various networking sessions for you to develop contacts with like-minded professionals in the IT field.

Some big announcements will be made during August on the keynote presentations with some exciting presenters firmly on the radar for the keynotes.

If you’re planning on attending, make sure you get your registration in early as the prize for one lucky registration made before the 14th of August will be an iPad 2. This prize will be drawn on the final session of the conference (you’ll have to be there to win).
