SHIRE OF DALWALLINU
The name Dalwallinu means "Aplace to rest awhile". The Government
Gazetted Well decided the position of the Dalwallinu Townsite and
became the source of water for many years, later to be replaced by the
Shire. A Tourist Precinct is situated around the picturesque Memorial
Park and includes a Visitors Centre displaying arts & craft in the
Old Courthouse. With access to a playground, coffee shop and
toilets it is indeed a place which encourages visitors to "rest awhile".
